Family Law Lawyer
Joy Pura is an Associate at Morrison Williams Professional Corporation, where she represents clients in a wide range of family law disputes, including high conflict decision making and parenting time issues, child and spousal support issues, and property division.
Joy completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, with a Major in Political Science and Minors in Sociology and French Literature. She then obtained her Juris Doctor at the University of Ottawa, where she competed in the Walsh Family Law Appellate Moot and, at graduation, was awarded the prestigious Family Law Institute Prize for her directed research paper on elder abuse in Ontario.
Prior to joining Morrison Williams Professional Corporation, Joy worked for a prominent family law firm in the Greater Toronto Area and has practiced in the area of family law since her call to the Ontario Bar. Joy has appeared before the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, and has assisted with matters before the Child and Family Services Review Board.
